Lexy Spilde
Life’s a game, from the beginning till the very end. This world was in for a change since her arrival. Neither the Los Angeles Lakers nor the Indiana Pacers of the epic 2000 NBA Championship could compete with the birth of Lexus Alissa Spilde, a born game changer. She entered this world strong, sweet, on fire for Jesus, and she’s always ready for a new adventure.
Growing up on a small hobby farm outside of Arlington, Lexy, the elder of her parents two children, gave her countless adventures around cattle, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, guineas, miniature donkeys, rabbits, dogs, cats, and even sugar gliders! Farm life sparked a passion for life thus developing her life-long passion of animals, people, and all God’s creations. Church fellowship, School and 4-H life in Arlington allowed countless adventures participating in multiple sports, youth group, band, choir, and 4-H show ring. Participating in these opportunities developed her leadership skills along with a willingness to take on challenging responsibilities. To crown off her high school adventures, Lexy was honored as Homecoming Queen. Then it was off to Free Lutheran Bible College (FLBC) in Plymouth, MN.
A desire to be closer to family and friends lead Lexy back to Brookings, ultimately to her Tech position here with Willert Chiropractic. Lexy is upbeat and always smiling. She has an innate ability to make the world a better place for whomever she’s around. God is good, all the time, even amid life’s harshness she desires to create a better world through her works. Lexy stays busy outside of work taking Business Management and Marketing classes through Lake Area Tech, mentoring her Church Youth Group, being with family, or hanging out with close friends.
