Better Results Start with Better Understanding
Your first visit is more than an examination. It is the beginning of a relationship.
At Willert Chiropractic, we care for people and families. We listen first, evaluate carefully, explain our findings, and help you choose your next step with confidence.
Appointments and walk-ins are welcome. Please allow about 60 minutes from arrival to departure.

A WARM, SIMPLE CHECK-IN
When you arrive, our team will welcome you and guide you through the clinic.
New-patient forms are completed in the office and usually take three to five minutes. A family member, spouse, caregiver, or support person is welcome to join you.
Children are welcome. Our team will help younger children feel comfortable with coloring, reading, or quiet play.
WE GET TO KNOW THE PERSON FIRST
Pain affects more than one body part. It affects your work, sleep, family, movement, confidence, and stress response.
Your consultation gives you time to explain:
• What happened
• When it started
• Where you feel the problem
• Why you believe it began
• What makes it better or worse
• How it affects your daily life
• What you want to regain
• How much stress your body is carrying
We listen before recommending care.
YOUR EXAMINATION
Your examination is based on your symptoms, health history, and goals.
It includes appropriate portions of:
• Height, weight, and blood pressure
• Posture and movement assessment
• Range-of-motion testing
• Neurological examination
• Orthopedic examination
• Palpation and physical evaluation
• MyoVision surface electromyography
• Digital X-rays, when clinically indicated
MYOVISION SEMG
Surface electromyography measures patterns of muscle activity along your spine.
The scan gives you and your doctor an objective visual record of how your spinal muscles are working. It supports the examination and helps establish a baseline for future comparison.
DYNAROM
DynaROM measures spinal movement and associated muscle activity during motion.
We use it when appropriate for automobile accident and workplace injury cases. The findings help document function, movement limitations, and recovery progress.
DIGITAL X-RAYS
X-rays are never automatic.
Your doctor will recommend digital X-rays only when your history and examination indicate a clinical need. Recent images from another facility might reduce unnecessary repeat imaging.
YOUR FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
After the evaluation, your doctor will explain:
• What the examination revealed
• What appears to be contributing to your problem
• Whether chiropractic care is appropriate
• Which services fit your needs
• The recommended plan of care
• What progress should look like
• When another provider or additional evaluation is appropriate
You will have time to ask questions. Care moves forward only after you understand and agree with the recommended plan.
CLEAR COSTS BEFORE CARE
Before treatment begins, our team will explain:
• The cost of your first visit
• Your expected cost at future visits
• Available insurance benefits
• Affordable care and clear payment options
Payment is due at the time of service. Clear expectations prevent financial surprises and allow everyone to focus on your recovery.
YOUR FIRST ADJUSTMENT
When chiropractic care is appropriate and you agree with the plan, your first adjustment usually occurs during this visit.
Your doctor will explain the procedure and help you feel prepared.
Your comfort, dignity, and consent guide every step.
Wear any clothing comfortable for you. We provide gowns and shorts when needed to support an accurate examination and protect everyone’s modesty.
BEFORE YOU LEAVE
Our team will:
• Review your first home-care instructions
• Help schedule your next visit
• Answer remaining questions
• Explain how to contact us between visits
• Present your Better Results, Faster welcome box
Your welcome box includes practical recovery and family-use items, including an ice pack, icing instructions, lip balm, hair tie, star massager, chip clip, and chiropractic education.
OUR PROMISE
You should leave your first visit thinking:
“They listened to me. They found the source of my problem. They explained it clearly. I know who will help me improve, and I know what happens next.”
